Butterflies and Fish

At the end of May we got about 25 butterfly larvae and miraculously all of them survived to become butterflies!  The kids had a blast watching them as they developed and playing with them.

I used an empty fish tank for the larvae and when the butterflies came out of their cocoon it was an easy job to set the tank outside and let the butterflies fly off as they learnt to fly.

At the end of May, Martin took the boys on a weekend fishing trip.  They limited out every day and came home with a lot of yummy, filleted fish.  I love making fish, potatoes and carrots for supper...cause it's a free meal!!!

And of coarse, they saw a few beautiful sunsets!
